Characteristics of the medical-psychological rehabilitation department.
Purpose
Providing high-quality specialized inpatient medical-psychological care at a guaranteed level.
The department operates in accordance with all standards and requirements set by the Ministry of Health. We have a wide selection of psychological and rehabilitation programs designed to improve the condition and meet the needs of each patient.
Structure
The department is designed for 20 beds and includes 4 wards for patient treatment and stay. The department has the doctor’s office for a psychiatrist, psychologist, psychotherapist, nursing and procedure rooms, a dining room, and a distribution area. There is also a relaxation area with a television and a library.
Patients have the opportunity to watch TV shows, read books and newspapers, play chess, tennis, football, engage with a rehabilitation specialist, psychologist, and psychotherapist, and use the sports hall.

Thanks to the coordinated and responsible work of highly qualified staff, the department can provide each patient with an individual approach to diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation.

There are 9 medical personnel with medical education:
- 2 registered nurses with the highest qualification category;
- 1 registered nurse with the first qualification category;
- 3 registered nurses with the second qualification category;
- 3 registered nurses without a category;
- The department also employs 15 junior nurses.
Services
All types of active therapy are used for patients in the department.
Treatment and examination of patients are prescribed from the first day of hospitalization, and then, depending on the clinical picture of the disease, the somatic condition, specialists consult patients as needed.
All patients hospitalized in the department undergo necessary laboratory and instrumental examinations, ECG, EEG, ultrasound, X-ray examinations, and if necessary, CT and MRI studies are conducted.
Professional Development
The department admits patients with various conditions, so the medical staff regularly improves their qualifications according to the plan. Training sessions are conducted to provide care and supervision for patients in different states, as well as to improve the principles of interaction with patients and their families, in accordance with the “Law on Psychiatric Care” of February 20, 2000.
